Robotic Air Blast Systems
Automated Air Blast Systems
Indexing Turntable Machine
The indexing turntable is a programmable automated blast system that offers both unparalleled increased cycle times and blast pattern consistency. The automated oscillating nozzle maintains the same distance and travers speed not obtainable with manual blasting. The indexing turntable is available with options to blast you most complex parts. This unit excels with both cylindrical parts as well as other configurations.
Continuous Processing Machines
Turntable and in-line machines for continuous processing. These systems can be loaded and unloaded manually, equipped with robotic arms are designed as an integral part of the production line.
Our continuous turntable machines come in four standard models with table diameters ranging from 36 inches up to 108 inches. Larger units are available with two rotary blast heads. The heads can be oriented to perform separate functions, such as blasting the interior and exterior of parts at the same time. Standard features include a rubber cabinet lining and a urethane coating on the turntable for extended service life.
Single Piece Flow Cell Machines
Single-station cell machines serve as just one example of how we meet the ever-changing demands of manufacturers worldwide. Our cell machines reduce inventory requirements and conserve floor space, giving many customers the winning edge in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.
Rotary Blast Heads
Empire Shot peening Equipment
Despite having a similar appearance to traditional air blast equipment, Shot peening has built in controls to ensure a controlled process. In the peening process we control and monitor the impact energy by: air pressure, media flow rate, and consistent shot working mix. Unlike traditional wheel blast equipment we can control a tighter parameter, essential while manufacturing components with tight tolerances.
In-line Blast System
In-Line Blast Systems are designed based on a material handling, part size, part weight, part geometry, as well as needed production rates. Typical configurations consist of flat belts, split belts, and rollers. The manipulation of the nozzle allows us to insure maximum coverage and consistent results.
Custom Automated Blast Systems
Custom automated blast systems allow us the opportunity to offer complete one of machines designed and tailored to your manufacturing needs. Custom engineering will design the right machine based on: part configuration, part size, material handling needs, and production rates.
